Last month a talented young friend of mine, Tace Joelle Samet, did a photography essay for a class at The George Washington University, from which she is about to graduate. She did a period shoot, using rich and layered backgrounds, period costumes and Judith Altman Designs jewelry. I thought I would share some of the beautiful results. The necklaces in these photos are from a series of Tibetan prayer boxes done in high-karat gold combined with coral, turquoise, jade and malachite.
These are from just a few of the shots in her project, further cropped to emphasize the jewelry. While these are not the final project pix, I think they look great. Tace, you get an A in my book!
